Whenever I design a new Fitness Regiment, my first order of business to measure and document any statistics that are pertinent to the program. I dedicated an entire section to this in my book "Worth The Weight," which is available on the home page of my website MukuluFitsAll.com. The importance of Measurements/Analytics reveals itself when you're trying to make improvements to your body, and maintain momentum. There's a huge difference between "I feel like I've lost weight," and "according to my measurements, I've lost 11 lbs. and an inch off my waist." Information always trumps speculation. Not only does

statistical information construct a much stronger base than an opinionated one, it also gives you an opportunity to keep track of your improvements without bias. Remember early on in school when we were given "Pass," or "Incomplete," instead of actual percentages and grades? Who determined those grades, and how were they decided? We were basically at the mercy of another person's opinion, and whatever bias they might have that could potentially skew their judgement. Imagine going to your college professor to debate a failed class, with no grades and/or percentages to draw from. It's hard enough getting around a teacher's bias even with actual grades.
